How do I take my listing offline?

If you have a free listing:

You can take your listing offline yourself. Go to
My listings and select the green Online toggle next to the listing you want to take offline and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you’d like to temporarily deactivate your listing (i.e. if you’re traveling or booked for the season), consider setting the relevant dates to unavailable in your calendar to prevent new bookings until you’re ready.

To get your listing online again, simply select the grey Offline switch to put your listing online. It will be live on every TripAdvisor Rentals site within 24 hours, and on the central TripAdvisor site within 48 hours.

If you have an annual listing:

You’ll need to contact us with your request. No refunds can be given for unused advertising time on your subscription.

What should I do if I have upcoming bookings?

When you start taking your listing offline, you’ll be asked to confirm whether you can honor your upcoming bookings. If you need to cancel any of them, simply select I need to cancel and follow the instructions on the screen.

Please provide your guests with all the information they need for arrival before taking your listing offline.

What happens when I take my listing offline?

We’ll send you an email once your property is offline. It may take a full 24 hours to be removed from TripAdvisor Rentals sites, and 48 hours to be removed from international TripAdvisor sites.
